Eternal Optimism!

15 June 1987
I'm Ian! I tack on an exclamation mark to the end of my name because, well, it's only three letters long. It needs to have a bit more oomph. I'm 22 and am currently living in San Antonio, Texas. It's nice. Not somewhere I'd like to continue living if I had a choice, but I'm not complaining.

Ultimately, my goal for the year is to apply and be accepted to the JET Programme *knock on wood* I'd really like to go over to Japan and teach English to those who have an interest in it. I myself am interested in foreign languages and I think it would be incredibly interesting to see how English is taught. Especially in a country like Japan.

So those are my short-term goals. As for long-term...I have no idea. I just take life as it comes. It's more fun that way :D

If you've made it to this point, congratulations! I'll gladly accept most people as friends on here, so feel free to friend me! :D Yay alliteration!
